Not even the grasshoppers can beat these things – they’re growing faster and taller/wider than I could have expected so definitely don’t plant closer than the recommended space or you won’t be able to find the beans in the tangle!! Holds up very well in Brisbane’s full summer sun. Personally I prefer simmering them for a few minutes opposed to eating fresh and they keep a nice texture unlike some beans that turn to mush in the pot.

The best crop I’ve found so far for the wet, pest-filled subtropical summers. Prolific producer, excellent germination rate, versatile and tasty bean. They’re going to be a staple at our house from now on!
